Cora often finds herself in hilarious and humiliating situations, witnessed by her neighbor Ben Walker who is always present to rescue her. Ben is the one person she wants to avoid, yet their paths continue to cross. By going on faith, she ends up forming a family among strangers, discovers strength that she didn’t know she possessed, and even finds love when she wasn’t looking.

I’m thrilled to introduce you to the fictional town and world of Moonberry Lake. Tucked away in the beautiful North Woods of Minnesota, Moonberry Lake reminds you of a simpler time, yet the struggles and drama revealed will feel similar to today. You’ll hopefully find something familiar in the quirky characters that speaks to you and makes you smile.
The people of Moonberry Lake will be popping in to share some thoughts or interesting news from their life. My favorite guests include the eccentric artist Arielle, who loves to share her latest recipe, Dear Tabby, who offers sage but sassy advice, and A Moment with Martha is always a good way to start or end a day. I also couldn’t leave out Main Street gossip in Sightings and Satire.
I am looking forward to publishing my Moonberry Lake series soon. In the meantime, I hope to familiarize you with the town and people that have crept into my dreams, taken over my writing, and have found a place in my heart. I created this website to share stories and give you all the “extras” that could not fit into my novels. My intention has always been to remind people of the good in the world and to spread light. May Moonberry Lake fill your heart with joy as it has mine.
